Fifty Shades of Grey: Book One of the Fifty Shades Trilogy

Fifty Shades of Grey - E.L. James I found this one was difficult to rate. If you take it at face value, it was a very fluffy enjoyable read. The hype definitely surrounds the erotic nature of the book, which lets be honest, is pure smut but who doesn't need a little smut now and then? I thought the author's attempt to convey the characters depths fell short. Very cliche story base...poor, inexperienced, young girl meets gorgeous billionaire who showers her with gifts. The only thing that sets it apart is the S&M. That being said, I liked the book and will continue on with the series.
